Eric Idle, star of stage, screen, and crossword puzzles, has been in show business since 1961. His new show, "Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, Live!" is a nostalgic one-man musical that features a blend of comedy, music, and philosophy, along with one memorable fart joke. An accomplished writer, Idle has penned several novels and plays and is also known for his iconic role in Monty Python. During his last visit to Australia, he performed a sold-out show at the State Theatre Sydney with Shaun Micallef in November 2022, and he closed the Just for Laughs Festival that year by singing his theme song with all the comedians at the Opera House.
