Indie icons Real Estate (US) are returning to Australia for the first time since 2017, bringing their celebrated alt anthems to fans in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne this November.
With a rich back catalogue to draw from, they will perform tracks from their studio albums Days, Atlas, In Mind, The Main Thing, and their debut self-titled release. This tour also celebrates 15 years as a band and features songs from their recently released sixth studio album, Daniel, including the standout tracks “Flowers” and “Water Underground.”
Regarded by NPR as “a stalwart presence in the indie world,” Daniel resonates deeply with listeners. Brooklyn Vegan describes the new album as nostalgic, invoking the essence of ’80s college radio and ’90s alt-rock, making it feel like “a phone call from a friend you haven’t heard from in ages.”
Real Estate will perform at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne on Friday, 15 November, followed by a show at Sydney’s Manning Bar on Saturday, 16 November, and then wrap up their Australian tour at The Triffid in Brisbane on Sunday, 17 November.
Renowned for their warm-hearted live shows, they deliver performances that are described by 303 Mag as unforgettable and “a unique yet alluring experience that feels timeless.” Emerging from the neighborhoods of New Jersey, Real Estate has established themselves as one of the most notable indie-pop acts of the past decade, with critical acclaim following their debut album and subsequent releases.
