Celebrating the International Day of the Girl – WOW Schools Day ‘24 takes place on 25 October, aligning with the UN International Day of The Girl Child. This event spotlights the challenges girls face globally and promotes empowerment and human rights.
Women of the World Australia (WOW) will partner with QPAC to host over 200 high school students for a full day of workshops, performances, and Speed Mentoring on the Wheel of Brisbane, featuring more than 100 mentors from diverse fields. The program includes a special panel conversation with inspiring young change-makers, hosted by Natasha Mitchell from WOW Big Ideas, which will be broadcasted by ABC Radio National.
