Ali Zand Vakili is an Iranian singer, composer, and music teacher born on February 16, 1986, in Shiraz. He began his artistic career at a young age by singing and playing the tonbak. In 1998, he was among the first entrants to the Shiraz Music Conservatory, where he studied for three years and learned to play the santour, piano, and tonbak. In 2002, he continued his education at the Tehran Conservatory of Music and graduated.
Ali gained fame with the release of his lullaby piece. He has been recognized for his work, winning the Golden Statue for the best composite and experimental piece of music outside an album for "Tarshro," and the Golden Statue for the best piece of fusion and experimental music for his "Lullaby," both selected by the public during the third annual celebration of Iranian music.
