World-renowned UK darkwave, industrial, and post-punk pioneers ATTRITION have released their long-awaited new album, ‘The Black Maria’ (Two Gods Records, March 2024), to widespread critical acclaim. Formed in 1980 in Coventry, England, ATTRITION are about to embark on their first-ever tour to Australia in October-November 2024, and they are excited to appear in Brisbane at THE CAVE INN on Saturday, 2 November.
Joining ATTRITION for select tour dates across Australia are New South Wales industrial synth crust artist SCHKEUDITZER KREUZ, Canadian ritual-ambient/ethereal project SUBTERRANEA, and Brisbane’s own post-punk/minimal synth outfit CHIFFON MAGNIFIQUE. The event will also feature goth-industrial DJs RICHARD (Faith Nightclub) and JOSH (Dark Essence Radio / Faith Nightclub).
