Former frontman of Hüsker Dü and Sugar, Bob Mould has forged a successful solo career, cementing his status as a forefather of alternative rock. With 15 solo studio albums, he has explored a multitude of sounds from guitar-driven rock to electronic dance music. His music tackles topics like trauma, sexuality, and political upheaval, approached with unmatched tenacity and passion.

In 2011, a tribute show at Walt Disney Concert Hall featured musicians such as Dave Grohl and Ryan Adams celebrating his remarkable career. Born in New York, Bob began his musical journey in the hardcore punk scene, founding the renowned Minneapolis punk band Hüsker Dü in 1979. After their breakup in 1988, he launched his solo career with the acclaimed album Workbook in 1989, which included the Top Ten modern rock hit “See A Little Light.”

Bob went on to form Sugar in 1992, with their debut album Copper Blue becoming his most successful project to date. After Sugar disbanded in 1992, he returned to his solo work and has since played countless festivals and toured internationally alongside bands like the Foo Fighters and The Hold Steady.
