Brahms’s Violin Concerto and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 form an epic opener to the Australian Chamber Orchestra’s 50th Anniversary Season. Joining the Orchestra will be current and former stars of the Emerging Artist Program, which celebrates its 20-year anniversary in 2025, as well as wind players hand-picked from ensembles around the world to create a big, bold, and brilliant sound. Richard Tognetti, marking 35 years at the helm of the ACO, brings all his characteristic flair and feeling to perform one of the pinnacles of the violin repertoire.
