Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey have announced their debut album, THE DELUGE, set to release on August 2nd under the name Fanning Dempsey National Park. This collection represents a departure from traditional sounds, with synthesizers taking precedence over guitars.
As part of the album's launch, they will embark on a national tour in October and November, performing in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth. Concertgoers can expect an electrifying live rendition of the album, along with surprise additions from their extensive songbooks.
Fanning and Dempsey expressed their enthusiasm, stating, “We’ve been telling you all how excited we are for you to hear our new album ‘The Deluge’, but that doesn’t compare to the fever we have to announce our national tour. It’s coming in October/November to a venue near you. Get on board, bring your raincoat, and prepare for a lot of fun.”
The lead single, "Disconnect", showcases their chemistry with ethereal synths, robotic pulses, dynamic drums, and striking horns, highlighting the distinct voices of these celebrated Australian rock artists.
