Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey are set to release their debut album, The Deluge, on August 2nd under the name Fanning Dempsey National Park. This album promises to diverge from conventional expectations, as it features synthesizers taking precedence over guitars.
To celebrate the release, a national tour will take place in October and November, hitting major cities such as Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth. This tour will bring the electrifying debut album to life on stage, along with a few surprises from their collective songbooks and record collections.
Fanning and Dempsey expressed their excitement, saying they can't wait for fans to experience the new music and the upcoming tour. The lead single, "Disconnect," showcases the duo's chemistry, combining ethereal synths, robotic pulses, energetic drums, and striking horns with their distinctive vocal performances.
