Bernard Fanning and Paul Dempsey are set to embark on a national tour this October and November in support of their debut album, The Deluge, releasing on August 2nd under the name Fanning Dempsey National Park. This album promises to explore new musical terrain, featuring synthesizers that edge out guitars.
The tour will take them across major cities including Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth, where they will bring their electrifying debut album to life on stage. Fans can expect a dynamic setlist that includes surprises from both artists' extensive songbooks.
Fanning and Dempsey express their excitement, stating, “We’ve been telling you all how excited we are for you to hear our new album ‘The Deluge’, but that doesn’t compare to the fever we have to announce our national tour. It’s coming in October/November to a venue near you. Get on board, bring your raincoat, and prepare for a lot of fun.”
The lead single, "Disconnect," showcases the duo's chemistry with its ethereal synths, robotic pulses, and distinctive voices, creating a cold, shiny sonic landscape softened by their passionate delivery.
