Join us for a delightful two-hour session of gingerbread house decorating! Guided by Renee from Daisy Cakes and Bakes, you'll learn royal icing decorating techniques and tips to prevent your gingerbread house from collapsing. With years of experience and multiple awards in sugar craft, Renee is excited to lead you through this fun workshop.
Here’s what you can expect:
The workshop will be held at Vend Marketplace, featuring over 120 small businesses, including the Vend Café and Greenhouse. Please note that there are approximately 14 stairs to the workshop space, with no lift access, and this class is suitable for adults (18+ years) only.
You'll receive a pre-assembled gingerbread house kit for the class, and if you enjoy the experience, additional kits will be available at a discounted rate for home decorating. Each kit includes everything used in the class plus detailed instructions for creating your own gingerbread house at home.
Come and spend two magical hours decorating a gingerbread house together! Renee from Daisy Cakes and Bakes will guide you through some royal icing decorating techniques and you’ll learn how to prevent your gingerbread house from collapsing (we’ve all been there)! Your gingerbread house for class will be assembled, but Renee will share her wealth of knowledge and show you how to construct a house to get the best results. Having made thousands of gingerbread houses over the years, and won multiple awards for her sugar craft, Renee is well placed to guide you through this fun workshop! Grab a friend or two, bring your colleagues or a group, or just bring yourself! There are approximately 14 stairs up to the workshop space and no lift access. This is an adult beginner class (18+ years for insurance purposes). Your ticket includes a pre-assembled kit to use during the class. We know that you’ll most likely love decorating your gingerbread house, or at least want to give it another go at home, so we have additional kits available at a discounted rate. You can order an additional gingerbread house kit and take the class home with you (you could use it to teach a child or make it a gift for a friend)! Our kits come with everything you'll use in class, and the step-by-step instructions to make one at home! Gingerbread house Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class. We may have some to sell on the day of the class, but these won’t attract the discounted offer of pre-purchase.
