Multi-platinum and ARIA award-winning Australian artist Illy announces his seventh record ‘Good Life’ for release later this year, along with The Good Life Tour. This announcement accompanies the release of the single ‘Good Life’, produced by Cam Bluff and co-written with DMA’s Johnny Took. The song embraces a ‘never say die’ spirit, encouraging listeners to push forward even in the hardest of times.
Illy expresses his excitement about performing live: "I can’t wait to be back on stages playing Good Life. Seriously, cannot. The entirety of the album process was spent with ‘how does it make sense live?’ at the front of mind. The new songs work so well with the classics, and we are going to leave everything out on stage. Throughout his decorated career, Illy has blended hip hop and pop, exploring new sonic inspirations across his six critically acclaimed studio albums. His third ARIA nomination was for the 2013 record “Cinematic,” which features the 3x platinum single and fan-favorite “Tightrope.” His follow-up project “Two Degrees” (2016) debuted at #1 on the ARIA charts, showcasing multi-platinum collaborations like “Papercuts ft.
