Is it that time of the year already? You bet it is! Mick Thomas’ Roving Commission is hitting the road for their annual Christmas tour, starting at the iconic Bundy Hall in Sale. The tour will also visit Hobart, the Queenscliff Festival, regional venues, and will conclude in their beloved Melbourne.
After a year of quiet consolidation following a fruitful 2023, the band will travel to Auckland this September to record at Neil Finn’s Roundhead Studios with award-winning producer Steve Schram (Crowded House, Paul Kelly, San Cisco, etc.). This twenty-date tour promises a superb setting to showcase new songs alongside classic Christmas favorites.
The full six-piece lineup includes powerhouse songbird Brooke Taylor, along with longtime bandmates Squeezebox Wally and Jen Anderson. Fans can look forward to beautiful opening acts and a mix of familiar venues as well as brand new stages. Yes, it’s that time!
