Overview

Mixed Up Everything are an Australian hard rock band from Melbourne, formed in 2016. The band consists of four brothers: Todd Dhima, Kevin Dhima, Blake Dhima, and Koby Dhima.

Their musical journey began in childhood, playing with tennis racquets and drumming on cushions, inspired by legends like The Offspring, U2, Bon Jovi, and Green Day. Todd picked up his first guitar at eight, followed by Kevin with an electric drum kit a year later. Their early performances at primary school included covers of classics such as "Smoke On The Water" and "You Give Love A Bad Name."

The band name, Mixed Up Everything, originated from a humorous exchange with their mother when Kevin, then three, described their music in baby talk. As their talents developed, they took to the streets, busking in Melbourne and performing at various venues, which helped them build a loyal following.

They showcased their versatility on YouTube, covering songs from iconic bands like Metallica, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam. Their first significant recognition came in 2012 when The Offspring shared a cover of their song "The Future Is Now" on social media. Kevin also participated in a drumming competition by No Doubt, coming close to winning a signed drum kit.

Mixed Up Everything has garnered praise from music legends such as Foo Fighters and Metallica. Their engaging performances and viral cover videos have captured attention worldwide, showcasing their passion for music and real instruments.

In addition to their covers, they have released two full-length albums of original music and continuously strive to create and make their mark in the music scene.

Mixed Up Everything are coming to our little Paradise for Music Lovers on Nov 16. What else can you say about these young aussie legends who've amassed millions of plays around the world? Mixed Up Everything are an Australian hard rock band from Melbourne, formed in 2016, from when they first began writing originals. The Band consists of four brothers Todd Dhima, Kevin Dhima, Blake Dhima, and Koby Dhima. It all began as a bunch of 3 to 6 year old’s playing ‘rockstars’ in front of their parents with tennis racquets and pounding on mums cushions with drumsticks, pretending to be The Offspring, the Chili peppers, U2, Bon Jovi, Audioslave, blink, Green Day or Matchbox 20. At the age of eight, Todd got his first guitar and learned his first proper chords from a guy named John who was a friend of his father. A year later, Kevin got his first electric drum kit and they both started taking proper music lessons privately, as well as at school. Their first performances were at their primary school where they made mess of Smoke On The Water, You Really Got Me, You Give Love A Bad Name, Sunshine Of Your Love and a few other songs that are too embarrassing to mention. It wasn’t long before Blake got his first left-handed acoustic guitar and Koby started leaning keyboard. Mum asked Kevin “What kind of music do you play?” Kevin was 3 years and in his baby talk, he answered, “Mixed Up Everything” and the band name was stuck. As time progressed and their confidence grew, Mixed Up Everything took their talent and music to the streets, busking in plenty of outdoor venues across Melbourne and they became a regular fixture in Melbourne’s Bourke Street Mall. They also took a trip across Europe literally singing for their supper and began playing in clubs and pubs. They never failed to draw huge crowds wherever they performed. Mixed Up Everything began to upload their covers on their YouTube channel to showcase their talent and versatility, covering almost to perfection by Metallica, Nirvana, 3 Doors Down, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine, Scorpions, Bush, Alice In Chains, blink-182, and, of course, The Offspring. The first proper ‘recognition’ came in 2012 from their favourites, namely The Offspring, who shared a cover of the boys’ The Future Is Now on their Twitter and Facebook page. As you might imagine, social media was ‘covered’ in shares and comments about these young ‘whipper snappers’ doing a fine job of an Offspring song. In that same year, Kevin entered a drumming competition that No Doubt put out to their fan base, to cover the drum part of their song Push and Shove. The winner was to be awarded with the Drum Kit signed by the band. Kevin gave it his best shot, but he came runner up in a tight contest, which according to No Doubt’s drummer Adrian Young “… was close it was a toss of a coin.” Kevin didn’t get that drum kit, but he got a snare skin signed by the entire band, which still has pride of place on the wall above his drum kit! Their amazing efforts never went unnoticed. They’ve since won high appraisals from no bigger names than Foo Fighters, Metallica, The Offspring, Scorpions, Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, Tea Party, Korn and plenty of radio stations, newspapers and websites across Australia and indeed the world. More recently their social media accounts have ‘exploded’ as several of their cover videos have gone viral. People from all over the world are simply sharing their videos because they appreciate their talent, strong work ethic and obvious love for real music and real instruments. Mixed Up Everything, however, refuse to be known as just a bunch of talented kids who cover their favourite musicians’ songs. They have 2 full-length albums of original music and don't plan to stop creating anytime soon! The three lefties and Todd aim to top charts, kick ass and take down names. \*Free Entry Conditions  - To get Free Entry you must Register online before the show for $10. - The show ticket costs $10 and then you redeem on the night for our famous $10 Food and Drink Voucher. - Why?
