Overview

It's been two years since the launch of Monique Clare's debut album, 'Sight,' which has received numerous accolades, including a QLD Music Award and album of the year at the Australian Folk Music Awards. To celebrate, Monique invites you to a special birthday party at the iconic Lefty's Music Hall, featuring a six-piece string ensemble, choir, and an Irish tunes rave.

The evening will delve into the album, bringing some of the original immersive arrangements to life for the first time in a live setting. Experience swirling strings, rich vocal harmonies, and intimate solo performances that evolve into intricate orchestrations. Monique will share personal insights into the experiences that inspired the songs and reflect on what has changed since their creation. Attendees can participate in the fun with "Monique Clare Bingo," where moments like forgetting lyrics or humorous stage mishaps can lead to laughter and even tears.

To cap off this emotional journey, the night will conclude with a lively dance led by the Irish band Amaidí, known for their exhilarating performances at folk festivals across Australia.
