In 2014, Dan, James, Anna, and Andy gathered around their microphones in QI’s Covent Garden office to create Episode 1 of "No Such Thing As A Fish." Now, celebrating a decade of podcasting, they are embarking on their Thundernerds tour, visiting venues across the UK and Ireland, as well as shows in Europe, Australia (including a return to the iconic Sydney Opera House), and New Zealand.
Each Thundernerds show features a unique live recording of the podcast, where the hosts share their four favorite facts from the previous week along with a brand new first half filled with fun, facts, and questionable puns.
The NSTAAF team expressed their excitement, stating: "We can’t wait to get on the road again and celebrate a decade of dorkery with our loyal listeners. It may seem like we’ve been going forever, but Mick Jagger and Keith Richards are still touring after 62 years in the business, and we like to think of ourselves as the Rolling Stones of podcasting, but with more moss."
"No Such Thing As A Fish” has been described as “unapologetically nerdy but beautifully accessible,” and is a must-listen for those who enjoy quirky facts. The Guardian praised it as “deliciously dorky,” while Richard Osman noted it makes him laugh consistently and is “clever, stupid, strongly recommended.”
