Not On Your Rider is Brisbane’s cult music trivia night, held monthly at The Triffid. Experience a live version of your favorite pop quiz shows like Spicks & Specks and Never Mind The Buzzcocks, where you and your team can compete for big prizes! Engage as much as you like in the fun or simply relax and enjoy the music, laughs, and good times.
Regular host Aimon Clark, along with team captains Patience Hodgson (The Grates) and Jeremy Neale (Jeremy Neale, Velociraptor), feature a rotating panel of special guests from the entertainment industry. Past guests have included Robert Irwin, Kate Miller-Heidke, Ben Lee, Trent Dalton, Steven Bradbury, Ranger Stacey, Mel Buttle, Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson, and members of Powderfinger, Ball Park Music, The Jungle Giants, The Go-Betweens, Dune Rats, The Chats, DZ Deathrays, Ruby Fields, and Washington.
Teams play at tables alongside special guests on stage, with stories from the music industry shared in between questions and rounds. The night promises surprises, fun, and plenty of prizes across all decades and genres.
