Overview

From humble beginnings nearly 50 years ago busking on the streets of Philadelphia to acclaimed sold-out runs on Broadway and becoming one of the longest-running, most beloved resident headline acts in Las Vegas history, magic’s legendary duo – Penn Jillette and Teller – continues to defy labels, and at times physics and good taste, by redefining the genre of magic and inventing their own distinct niche in comedy.

Returning to QPAC after their eagerly anticipated first tour down under in 2022, Penn & Teller will celebrate their 50th anniversary in Australia in 2025 with a suite of brand-new mind-bending tricks. Their off-Broadway debut in 1985 electrified New York with a stage show that combined magic, comedy, and social commentary, described by the New York Times as a “Witheringly funny... Brazen assault on the temple of magic.”

Performing nearly 300 live shows every year from America’s greatest performing arts venues to the Sydney Opera House and London’s Apollo Theatre, their record-breaking Las Vegas show at The Rio Hotel & Casino boasts nine wins as “Las Vegas Magicians of the Year” and has been called “The single best show in Vegas” by the Los Angeles Times.
