🎨 Sip & Paint: Your Own Pet Portrait 🐾 OVERVIEW: You have two options for participating: OPTION 1: Attend the Art Workshop OPTION 2: I Paint Your Pet for You OPTION 1: Art Workshop Participation WHAT I NEED FROM YOU: • please Send a Photo of Your Pet: Please email me a photo of your pet’s face and part of their neck within 3 hours of booking to ensure enough time for preparation. • Important: Avoid sending full-body images; I need a clear picture of your pet’s face and neck only. • The photo will be used to create a draft silhouette, provided as a starting point during the workshop. • Timing is Key: All pet silhouettes must be completed 24 hours before the event, so submitting your photo on time is essential. • Focus on the Essence: This workshop emphasizes capturing the essence of your pet in an abstract expressionist style rather than realistic details. • Duration: 3 hours • Provided Materials: Canvas (30x40 cm), paints, brushes, and all necessary supplies • Style: Abstract expressionist (not realistic artwork) • Extras: Complimentary glass of wine and snacks • Parking: Street parking available, or park at the back of the location. • What to Bring: Comfortable clothing suitable for painting. WORKSHOP AGENDA: 1. Welcome & Introduction: • Overview of abstract expressionist art and how we’ll paint your pet. • Introduction to the materials provided and their use. 2. Watercolor Techniques: • Focus on capturing the essence of your pet, not exact details. • Guidance on painting your pet’s basic shape and features using the photo you submitted (not a sketching workshop). 3. Demonstration & Painting: • I’ll demonstrate basic techniques and brushwork. • You’ll begin painting your pet’s portrait with watercolor, with individual help available throughout the session. 4. Finishing Your Portrait: • During the first session, you’ll receive all the instructions and time to complete your painting. • If you don’t finish during the session, you have options: • Complete it at home with detailed instructions provided. • Book another session with us to continue your painting (optional). 5. Wrap-Up & Q&A: • Time for questions, feedback, and the option to book a second session if needed. • Information on how to continue working on your portrait at home. OPTION 2: I Paint Your Pet for You If you prefer, I can paint your pet for you. Simply book one session and email me letting me know you’ve chosen Option 2. You won’t need to attend the workshop. Once the painting is finished, you can pick it up, or delivery can be arranged (additional fees apply). NOTE: One pet per ticket. If you want portraits of more than one pet, please purchase additional tickets. •Q&A SESSION FAQ Q: Do I need any prior painting experience? A: No prior experience is necessary! This workshop is suitable for all skill levels, and the instructor will provide guidance throughout the sessions of course practice make masters but you can start today! Q: What type of photo should I bring of my pet? A: Please bring a clear, front-facing photo of your pet. Avoid body shots, as the focus will be on capturing your pet’s facial features and expression. Q: Can I take my painting home immediately after the workshop? A: Yes, you can take your painting home after the second session. We will also provide tips on how to properly finish and preserve your artwork. Q: What should I wear? A: Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit of paint on. COPYRIGHTS - By providing a picture of your pet, you grant me the rights to paint it and use photographs of the artwork for social media. - I retain all copyrights to the painting and any silhouettes created. The fee for painting your pet does not include the transfer of these copyrights.
