Often hailed as “The Godfather of Grunge,” he has been a seminal influence on numerous bands, including Mudhoney, Nirvana, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The White Stripes, Sonic Youth, The Drones, and Spacemen 3.
An internationally acclaimed artist, Kim Salmon has shared the stage with legendary acts such as The Stooges, Television, Kid Congo & the Pink Monkey Birds, The Cramps, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, The Pop Group, and even U2. He has embarked on the “How did they ever manage” tour to present new music from his latest project, Smoked Salmon. The album "How did they ever manage" is now available on Cheersquad Records, with more music from Smoked Salmon to come.
