In support of their upcoming EP, Happiness In A Place It Shouldn’t Be, set to release on September 27, The Rions are embarking on a 21-date Australian tour starting this October. They have already had 11 sold-out shows in 2024 and are excited to expand their reach with their first-ever UK and Europe tour alongside Pacific Avenue.
Happiness In A Place It Shouldn’t Be continues the band's journey following their debut EP, Minivan, released in 2023. This five-track project captures their evolution from high school hopefuls to a self-assured band, exploring themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. The Rions express a commitment to raw authenticity in this new EP, stating, “For our second EP, we wanted to approach it with raw authenticity. This is the most genuine we’ve ever been with our stories, and we’re thrilled to share it with you all.”
The upcoming EP will feature their new single, “Time Will Try,” along with popular tracks “Sweet Cocoon” and “Physical Medicine,” both of which reached #1 on triple j’s Most Played Tracks.
