The idea for THE ULTIMATE LUKE COMBS TRIBUTE SHOW originated in Ross's garage, where he and the band were rehearsing and lamenting their inability to secure tickets for Luke Combs' 2023 Australian Tour. In a spontaneous moment, Ross suggested they create their own tribute show.
Ross Webb and his band, The Rusted Track, are ardent fans of Luke Combs's music, and they had already begun covering some of his classic tunes. After pitching the concept to local venues, the response was overwhelmingly positive, and the project quickly gained momentum.
Selecting the set list proved to be a challenge due to the wealth of great songs available. Nevertheless, the band is proud of the diverse mix they've compiled, featuring tracks from Luke's early hits to selections from his latest album.
Despite being a new endeavor, the show has already sold out performances across Southern NSW this year, and due to its rising popularity, they plan to take the tribute show interstate in early 2024, with aspirations for a national tour.
Audiences can expect to enjoy an energetic experience filled with Luke's smash hits, from his first hit "Hurricane" to "Kinda Love We Make" and more. The show invites everyone to sing along, celebrating the essence of Luke Combs's music, including favorites like "Beer Never Broke Your Heart" and "1, 2 Many.
THE ULTIMATE LUKE COMBS TRIBUTE SHOW The idea for the show all stemmed from Ross’s garage ,whilst rehearsing with the boys, and we were all complaining about not being able to get tickets to any concert on Luke Combs 2023 Australian Tour. Off the cuff Ross said lets put our own show together and see what happens. Ross Webb and his band The Rusted Track are all massive fans of Luke Combs’s music and were already covering some of his classic tunes in their show well before Ross came up with the idea of a tribute show. Ross floated the idea to a couple of local venues that loved the idea. That’s when the snowball started rolling. The next thing was picking the songs. Compiling the set lists was one of the hardest things as there are so many good songs to choose from. We feel we have put together a good mix from his early releases right up to his latest album Whilst the show is in its infancy it has sold out shows across Southern NSW already this year and due to the shows popularity the show will be heading interstate early in 2024. As momentum builds Ross and the boys hope to tour the show nationally The show covers the hits from Luke’s first hit Hurricane, through to Kinda Love We Make and others off his latest album which will have the crowd singing along from the first song to the last. The show will give everyone the chance to experience a full show of Luke Combs smash hits. Remember Beer Never Broke Your Heart and you can never have 1 2 Many
