The first exhibition features Ngugi artist Elisa Jane Carmichael, who utilizes painting, weaving, and textiles to explore nature's beauty and her family's connection to the land. In her activity, Shell adornments, Elisa encourages children to create unique paper shell necklaces inspired by the beautiful eugarie shells (pipis) found on the shores of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island).
Art Box for Kids emphasizes sustainable exhibition design and the use of recycled or repurposed materials whenever possible.
