Following a productive first half of the year performing from Bali to Berlin, and playing sold-out shows with The Dreamlanders in Sydney and Melbourne, Jack Ladder is bringing a friend home from France for the spring: Ryder The Eagle.
Touring together through the UK in 2023, they are reuniting for a series of shows along Australia's East Coast. Ladder remarks, “Ryder’s songs and performance get me going like nothing else. He is a fearless writer of ballads and an even more fearless performer. He knows how to explore the room, and I look forward to seeing him dancing on the bar of the Northcote Social Club. No one leaves a Ryder show unconverted.”
Ryder will be touring in support of his latest album “Autotango,” which evokes the sounds of 80’s Leonard Cohen and The Cure’s Disintegration with a twist of French chanson.
Monsieur Ladder will be previewing new songs from a forthcoming album recorded at Valentine Studios in Los Angeles this year, along with revisiting songs from Hijack!
