Since launching his independent music career in 2020 with his debut single ‘slow down’, James has experienced remarkable success. After amassing over 20 million streams, he released his debut EP, Bitter Tongues, in 2022, establishing himself as a multi-faceted artist.
Returning to Australia a year after his celebrated debut in 2023, which culminated in sold-out headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, James has emerged as a promising name in the alt-rock scene. He has consistently toured his EP across the UK, supported Jake Bugg at London’s Royal Albert Hall, and performed at notable festivals like The Great Escape and Neighbourhood Weekender. His first full-length album, Are We There Yet, was released in 2023 to praise from fans and critics alike.
