Self-taught, she writes and records all aspects of her music in her bedroom, acting as her own producer and composer. Her sound combines moody indie-pop with snarling punk, characterized by relatable and honest themes, and her remarkable storytelling.
Jess Day gained national recognition with singles like ‘Why Is She So Beautiful?’ and ‘Rabbit Hole,’ which secured her Feature Artist placements with triple j and Triple J Unearthed. Her profile continued to rise with the release of later single ‘Signals,’ and has surpassed 1 million Spotify streams, reaching a peak in national radio airplay with ‘Affection.’
