Exploding from the vibrant music scene of Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia, Mosspaw are a shrapnel grenade of alt-rock, psych rock, shoegaze, and nu-jazz, carving a name for themselves as a pioneering alternative-psych outfit. Their debut album, Big Bite, delves into themes of loss, unhealthy relationships, and substance abuse, with often cryptic lyrics inviting listeners to interpret their meaning in open-ended ways. The album was self-produced in frontman Daniel's home studio, with mixing by the esteemed Magoo, Marly Lüske, and Joel Myles, and mastering by Marly Lüske.
Following a productive first year filled with electrifying performances, Mosspaw is ready to share their eclectic 55-minute body of work with the world. They will showcase it at Black Bear Lodge on November 24th (Dan's Birthday) for the last stop of their tour.
