Ever since “I Got Burned” became one of the biggest local songs of 2012, Australia has embraced the collaboration between Tim Rogers (You Am I) and Lance Ferguson (The Bamboos). Following their success, Rogers and The Bamboos toured the country, performing to sold-out theaters and over 10,000 attendees at the closing night of Womadelaide in 2015. They released the acclaimed album The Rules Of Attraction that same year.
In early 2024, the duo reunited to create a new sound, leading to the emergence of The Ferguson Rogers Process. This project combines elements of Disco's gritty side with the groove of Rock, resulting in a blend of glamour and grit. It features Tim Rogers’ sharp lyrics alongside Lance Ferguson’s natural sense of rhythm.
Their debut album, Style And Or Substance, is set to be released on November 15th under Impressed Recordings. The band, led by Ferguson and featuring members of The Bamboos and Melbourne Boogie maestros Mondo Freaks, promises memorable performances with one of Australia’s most captivating showmen at the microphone.
