Marking 30 years since their first performance in Brisbane in 1995, Australia’s favourite tenor ensemble, The TEN Tenors, will embark on the Australian leg of their massive world tour. What started as a one-off performance for a corporate event by a group of young men from Brisbane’s Conservatorium of Music has grown into a touring phenomenon.
The TEN Tenors have circled the globe multiple times and performed in iconic venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, and the Sydney Opera House. With a touring history in 37 countries and over 3,500 shows, The TEN Tenors are recognized for their powerful performances of classic songs, such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Hallelujah,” “Funiculì, Funiculà,” “Largo AL Factotum,” and “Nessun Dorma.”
Each show features innovative interpretations of well-known classical, pop, and rock songs, enhanced by dazzling choreography. The ensemble is also celebrated for their clever musical medleys, including the “Michael Jackson Medley,” “Bee Gees Medley,” “Jersey Boys,” “Disco,” “80s Medley,” and the “Diva Medley,” which intricately weaves together 22 songs for a vibrant and often ironic journey through iconic ‘Diva’ hits.
